The "150A EMC Probe Amplifier" is a low-noise, wideband, high-gain amplifier designed for the 100 series EMC probes. When used as needed, it can dramatically improve sensitivity, thereby widening the resolution bandwidth of the spectrum analyzer, resulting in faster sweeping and measurement. Depending on the model of the spectrum analyzer used, sensitivity can improve by about 20 to 30 dB.
